Oh, The Humanity and Other Good Intentions

Review by Looby Loo

The premise of this play was a very good one.  The play was tapping into the innermost private feelings during situations in the public arena showcased in five short pieces.  The first play was very promising.  The other four were tedious and not very imaginative.  The synchronised stagehands added a level of professionalism that the play did not warrant.

Audience wriggling: I certainly was
Bows: 1
Venue: St Stephen’s has a charming cafe
General spot: buggies and Daniel Kitson
1/5 WIGS

Wasted set. Wasted acting talent. Completely dull premise. Disappointing showing from the Northern Stage…
